Attention Transit Passengers

Kam Air flights arrive and depart from Terminal-2 at Dubai airport.

All major airlines like Emirates, Lufthansa, Qatar, United etc, arrive and depart from Terminal-1.

Traveling from Kabul to Dubai with KAM AIR, and then continuing onwards with another airline

KAM AIR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR BAGGAGE UP TO DUBAI ONLY. WE SUGGEST YOU CLAIM YOUR BAGGAGE IN DUBAI AND THEN CHECK IN AGAIN WITH THE AIRLINE YOU ARE TRAVELING ONWARDS WITH.

However, we can guide you about transferring your baggage while you are in transit:

  • When checking in at Kabul, please inform the check in staff of your final destination and get the TRANSFER tag attached to your baggage.
  • As soon as you arrive in the Terminal-2 building at Dubai, contact the Transfer / Transit Desk.
  • Show your onward ticket and your baggage tags and request the DNATA staff to transfer your baggage to your connecting flight in Terminal-1.
  • DNATA staff will transfer your baggage to Terminal-1 as requested.
  • When boarding your connecting flight from Terminal-1, please recheck with the Airline staff to ensure your baggage is onboard.

TRAVELING WITH QATAR AIRWAYS

PLEASE NOTE THAT QATAR AIRWAYS IS NOT ACCEPTING ANY BAGGAGE FROM TRANSIT PASSENGERS FROM TERMINAL-2. WE SUGGEST YOU CLAIM YOUR BAGGAGE IN DUBAI TERMINAL-2 AND CHECK IN AGAIN WITH QATAR AIRWAYS AT TERMINAL-1.

Traveling with another airline up to Dubai, and then Dubai to Kabul on KAM AIR

KAM AIR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR BAGGAGE IF YOU HAVE CHECKED IN DIRECTLY WITH KAM AIR. WE SUGGEST YOU CLAIM YOUR BAGGAGE IN DUBAI ON ARRIVAL AT TERMINAL-1 AND CHECK IN AGAIN WITH KAM AIR AT TERMINAL-2.

KAM AIR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR BAGGAGE IF IT IS NOT CHECKED IN WITH KAM AIR.

However, KAM AIR will bring your baggage from Dubai if DNATA Dubai transfers your baggage to us. Please follow this procedure if you are in transit:

  • When checking in at your point of origin, please inform the check in staff about your Dubai - Kabul flight and get the KABUL tag attached to your baggage.
  • As soon as you arrive in Dubai at Terminal-1, contact Transfer / Transit Desk-E.
  • Show your Dubai - Kabul ticket and your baggage tags and request the DNATA staff to transfer your baggage to Terminal-2 on your KAM AIR flight.
  • DNATA staff will transfer your baggage to Terminal-2 as requested.
